Hello! My DH loves buttermilk biscuits and I thought I'd try making them from scratch instead of buying them at the store. I've found several good recipes that are very basic - flour, baking powder, salt, buttermilk, and shortening. My question is, I don't use shortening, is there any way to substitute butter for the shortening? Or would that just make them awful. Thank you!
