|
Date: | March 22, 2010 at 4:39 pm PST |
Hi. This recipe is from BabyBites. What would be the best egg sub? For most baked goods I use Egg Replacer, but I wasn't sure if that would work here.
thanks
These Peanut Butter Apple Bars are as easy as counting ˇ°1-2-3ˇČ
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees
(1) In a food processor, blend together ¨ú cup peanut butter, ¨ö cup coconut oil or other cold-pressed oil, ¨ö cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs.
(2) Then spoon the processed peanut butter mixture into a bowl with ¨ú cup whole-wheat flour and ¨ö teaspoon baking soda. Stir in ¨ö cup applesauce.
(3) Press the dough into a 12 X 12 square pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes until done. After the pan has cooled, cut into two-inch bars.
