Subject:         Mushroom & Pine Nut Pate`

Mushroom & Pine Nut Pate`

1 Tbs margarine (or oil)
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
1 garlic clove, peeled and minced
1 cup pine nuts
2 Tbs oil
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp thyme
1 dash hot sauce

In a large frying pan, melt margarine over medium heat.
Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
Saute` until onion is golden, and mushrooms are tender. Set
aside.
Put remaining ingredients in food processor or blender.
Process until smooth.
With processor running, slowly add oil until mixture is
well-blended.
Add mushroom mixture. Blend all thoroughly.
Put pate` in crock or small bowl.
Chill thoroughly.
Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley or sesame seeds.
