I have a print out of a posting on your site dated January 04, 1999 It's in reply to Maya and includes a recipe for "Vegetarian Crispy Rice Cereal Treats"

The ingredients (as they appeared in the original posting)are as follows:

Vegetarian Crispy Rice Cereal Treats

1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 margarine (canola is best)
6 cups crispy rice cereal

In a saucepan, cook the sugar and corn syrup on medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in margarine then cereal. Mix well.

Press mixture into a 9 x 13" pan and let cool. Cut into bars.

It's signed "love and snacks Denise".
I need to know how much margarine to use. Is it half a cup? Half a stick or half a pound?

Since I don't have access to Ricemellow fluff, this is the next best (and easist) option.

Thank you in advance.
