TVP Bakon
1 cup plain TVP granules or bits
1 cup water
1 tsp soy sauce or Bragg's Aminos
1/2 tsp oil
2 tsp natural sugar or maple syrup
1 tsp Liquid Smoke
In a saucepan, bring water, soy sauce, oil, sugar,
and Liquid Smoke to a boil.
Pour over TVP, and let soak for 15 minutes.
(NOTE: For larger pieces, add TVP to pot, and
simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes).
Store in the cooking liquid, in the fridge.

Crispy Bakon (Breakfast Style)
Drain liquid from a portion of the prepared bakon
(above).
Fry the drained bakon in a little oil until it is
crispy.
Serve.
Excellent for BLT's!

Bakon Bits
Put rehydrated TVP (above) on a sprayed cookie
sheet.
Bake in a low oven (250 F), stirring every 10
minutes, until dried.
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
Use on salads, etc.
