Subject:         help- silken tofu ideas needed!

I have always used extra firm, water packed tofu, but our buying club had a great deal on silken, extra firm. I got 3 lbs. I am clueless. Is it freezable? If so, do I take it out of its packaging first, or freeze it right in the package? Can I use it interchangably with water-packed?
