Sears (and similar home-supply places)
have dozens of water filter types, each
type labeled with exactly what it will
filter out (taste, chemicals, etc).

Once you have the filter system installed
under your sink (or wherever), you just
need to replace the filter refill when the
water starts to taste bad again.

After the initial purchase, this is usually
MUCH cheaper than bottled water in the long run.
