I fixed some vegan cream of tomato soup last night, and to use up some TVP chunks, I tossed them in the soup for some added protein. when the soup got done cooking, it occured to me that the balls would make the perfect substitute for meatballs, without having to go through the whole rigamorole of ingredients/shaping/baking-frying/etc. that some other recipes call for. Just take however many tvp chunks you want (the ones I boght in the local oriental market were about 3/4 inch in diameter dried), and boil them in your favorite broth for simmering seitan. In my case it's a blend of soy sauce, catchup & sesame oil with some italian seasonings, in order to give the TVP chunks a "beefy" flavor. :-)
