Subject:         Japanese Ginger Dressing

Japanese Ginger Dressing I

1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 Tbs water
1 - 2 Tbs minced fresh ginger (to taste)
2 Tbs minced celery
2 Tbs ketchup
4 tsps soy sauce
2 tsps sugar
2 tsps lemon juice
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender.
Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds
or until all of the ginger is well-pureed.

Japanese Ginger Dressing II

1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup peanut oil
2 Tbs rice vinegar
2 Tbs water
1 Tbs chopped ginger root
1 Tbs chopped celery
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 & 1/2 tsps tomato paste
1 & 1/2 tsps sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
dash salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food
processor, and process until smooth.
