The people over at the "Veganism" board would probably be better at describing this but veganism is using no animal product whatsoever in diet or lifestyle. No leather, silk, wool, honey, milk, egg, meat, or byproducts. There are different types of vegetarians, some eat eggs and milk, some only eat milk, some don't eat any dairy or eggs but do eat honey. Some eat the exact diet of a vegan but don't carry that to their other products like hair and body care or clothing. It's usually referred to as a "strict vegetarian" or "dietary vegan" when only referring to the dietary aspect and not the lifestyle. I'm not the best at describing that.
