I just made this recipe http://www.recipezaar.com/Enchilada-Sauce-12877

and the flavor is pretty good, but it has so many spices that it's gritty. It said to mix spices with flour and oil and cook on medium til fragrant, then slowly add liquid. I did that, while whisking a lot...but it's still really gritty. Do you have any tips for next time, or a different recipe for a mild red enchilada sauce? I usually like Old El Paso Mild but it's expensive!
