I am arab and what we do is cook the bulgar in water, (1 1/2 cups water to 1 cup bulgar) and lightly fry some vermicelli noodles and add the noodles to the boiling water. Add some salt to taste. You can add fried onions if you like. Cook until most of the water dries. It is great with a vegan stew or veggies stuffed with rice and a side of lentil soup. :)
