Deborah, Help! My son is a relatively new vegan and I would like to serve our family pumpkin pie recipe so that he can eat it, too. It contains evaporated milk, 3 eggs and molasses along with pumpkin, sugar and spices. Is there any way I can use substitutes and still have this come out tasting similar to what the family is used to eating every year? PS If I use vegan butter in baking other foods, will it change the consistency? Is there any kind of formula for the conversion?
