Hi,
My husband just bought me a food dehydrator. I've been reading that you need to "treat" certain foods before dehydrating them. I just watched a video on youtube by a lady that said she never does anything special to her fruits and veggies (no blanching of the veggies). Her produce goes right from the garden to the dehydrator. The only step she uses is to slice everything up. Does anyone else do it this way? Every other source says to blanche the veggies first. For fruits, she said she doesn't soak them in anything first. Any thoughts. It sounds good to me.
Thanks.
