Carol and Carrie,
I am experiencing severe GI upper and lower and I have been eating 90 percent raw for a few years. I am not sure what is going on. Docs are saying I need more insoluable fiber since the raw fruits and veggies are soluable fiber I am not getting enough. I do not eat much dairy at all and very little meat only chix and fish maybe once or twice a month. I need to get to the root of this. It may not be all diet related so this is my encouragement to both of you, make sure you follow up with GI's and in addedum see a liscensed Naturopath or nutritionist who empathizes with your raw food views. This is what I intend to do. I am emphasizing follow up with your MD's because the bowels are not something you want to ignore. If they are chronically inflammed as in IBS, they are suseptible to perforations which can lead to toxicity and death. Follow through ladies and best wishes.
