Subject:         Dr--I'm bingeing! :(

I've been doing mostly raw food for about 5 months now. My typical good day consists of fruit in the morning (or green smoothie), an all-fruit lunch or some fruit before a big salad with vegetables, a fruit snack before a cross country workout, and some fruit with a few large salads (maybe with some fats like avocado or nuts) for dinner.
It seems that about 3 times a week I binge at night/in the evening, eating tons of bananas and dates (about 7 dates), or not craving sweet fruits and going for popcorn or bread/pasta/oatmeal. I know I go over my calorie limit and have gained about 3 pounds since starting this raw food diet. I feel like, especially at night, I lose control, even though I enjoy how I eat throughout the day. I do count calories because I don't want to gain weight as a runner. I also feel like I eat too much fruit, like I eat it even when I'm not hungry. I just like the sweet taste. What's going on here?
Thank you so much for your help!!! I've been researching ways to combat this for a while, because it's stressful and emotionally taxing.
