Hi Dr. Graham, I had my baby 7 weeks early(on July 15th)because he was experiencing kidney failure in utero. His right kidney is multi-cystic (MCDK)and non-functioning. The left kidney which we thought was just dialated, started failing. I basically had no amniotic fluid left. He is in the NICU and I am pumping breast milk for him. Breastmilk is all he's ever had, besides IV fluids and medication. I'm trying to get him to nurse but he's just so little. We will continue to practice each day. I'm wanting to go 811rv (have been trying) and just wondering if I should look to another staple calorie source besides bananas. Didn't know if it was ok to eat 20-30 a day given his kidney situation. Since he's getting his nutrition through me and not consuming bananas directly, maybe it's a non issue. Just wondering what you think. Sincerely, Denae
