Subject:         Candida hiding on 80/10/10?
Date: August 17, 2009 at 6:10 am PST

Hi, I am just wondering if anybody has not only eradicated their candida on 80/10/10, but also if they are able to occasionally eat things that would have previously aggravated candida before it resolved itself(not white sugar)? I have followed 80/10/10 for over a month and definitely had incredible energy, but was missing some of my favorite foods, having been on the standard cooked candida diet for over a year and a half. I came to 80/10/10 to resolve my candida but never intended it to be the way I would eat indefinitely. Once every two weeks or even just once a month, I'd love to be able to eat something I used to love like cheese (I was never vegan) but am doubting whether or not I will ever be able to. I tried it yesterday and my stomach ballooned out like it did at the height of my candida suffering and I was instantly exhausted and light-headed...
This has me wondering if candida really resolves itself on 80/10/10 or if eating so much fruit feeds your body and candida at the same time, so they can live together in peace? As long as you stay on 80/10/10, candida symptoms don't bother you and the yeast is getting what it needs and your cells are getting the nutrition they need?
Anyone have any insight?
