I have NEVER had any problems combining melons with grapes or berries. Even the original food combining book by Herbert Shelton doesn't mention that melons need to be eaten without any other fruits. I don't know where this ridiculous myth started. Regardless, it wouldn't have anything to do with blood sugar levels.
