You can substitute most any fruit with another, but do try to stay with sweet, less sweet, and not so sweet.

It isn't really hard to eat 80-10-10 as it seems. Try to find raw food potlucks in your area so that you can try some of the transition foods prepared by other participants. When you go to one of these, pick up some fruit, such as clementines or oranges, apples, bananas, etc., or just pay whatever they ask if you don't bring anything.

This way, you'll be with people of like minds and you'll enjoy yourself greatly.
