Hello every one,
I haven't been on here for a while, but I just scrolled down (far down) and saw the last time I posted here was April 2006 when I started my raw journey.
I was asking the classical newbie questions like 'where will I get my protein" - that was me?!
Well things have changed a lot now, since that day I posted here first I kept eating more and more raw food, I ate real high raw for four months! Over the winter I added more cooked foods but didn't feel very good for it. I am now high raw again - which marks a year of eating raw foods : )

The reason I ate raw was because of the surgery I was expecting to have - well I had my surgery and I've healed really well. But raw food has given me so much more than good health, it's given me confidence to be myself and I've learnt to enjoy my life. I haven't been depressed since eating raw.

So here's a thank you to everyone, especially Claudine, who answered so many of my questions when I posted here first! Your encouraging words really paid off : ))

Since going raw I lost my excess weight (in 4 months), and came down from 11 stone 4lbs to 9 stone 3lbs. Its gone up since lack of activity from surgery, but I'm confident that when I settle back into my exercise regime I should return to my normal weight.

I've also set up a website for people who eat raw in Wales, UK - www.myspace.com/rawfoodwales

So thankyou all!
And to anyone who's new here and wants to eat raw - just do it! It's the best thing I've ever done for myself.

lots of raw hugs,
Bex
