I'm not sure I agree with this. First off, Dr. D. always says that the easiest transition is the quickest transition and I agree. Secondly, every new addition of toxic salt to your system is more work for your body to 1)dilute it-water retention, 2)excrete it, 3)store it if incapable of excreting it. After a year of almost no salt intake, I'm still feeling the detox symptoms of my body getting rid of it, like low blood pressure on occasion and every time I've cheated and had some salt it was a long process to get over. Finally, I trust that my body will not do something to the point of harming itself if I give it the proper diet and conditions to work with. I suggest instead of readding salt to your diet, listen to your body more when you're having low blood pressure symptoms. Don't get up too suddenly, rest more, drink more water, get sun, get exercise.
