I understand as soon as the blades start on the produce the nutrients start to go down. I take my smoothies to work. Yesterday instead of waiting bit by bit to blend a large organic Red Leaf head I did the whole thing with a couple bananas and put in glass jar and then used that as the base for 3 more qts jars with a lot more bananas and a lot more water later. I am learning to add plenty water as in the example of the watermelon post to where it is recommend if you live in a hot area to have water with the watermelon (double check for accuracy). to which I wonder if that is why before I got chapped lips. I live in the desert and it is usally hot.
