I see that the father of John Robbins has passed away.

Primarily through "Diet For A New America", John Robbins is probably responsible for the creation of more vegetarians in this country than any other individual, myself included. Growing up in Kansas I had never even heard of the concept of vegetarianism until I stumbled across "Diet For A New America" (I like to think that I was guided to the book). So thank you John.

I doubt that he reads this board (there is his "Healthy at 100" board at VegSource, but I would guess that John Robbins has influenced many of us and I'd like to offer to him my condolences here in our community.
