I had purchased a Vitamixer about 12 years ago (the older-style with the stainless-steel container) and have used it happily since then. When using it last night, my son told me that it had broken, and showed me that the bottom rubber piece that interconnects with the drive mechanism had broken off. At the time that we purchased this, I seem to recall that it had a 'lifetime warranty' against breakage -- can you please verify if this part is in fact under warranty, or if we would need to purchase a replacement part? If we need to purchase a replacement part (is just the rubber/blade component replaceable, or would we need to get the complete container with blade, etc.?), can you please advise regarding the appropriate part number and cost? Thanks!
