hahah don't worry, of course i still realize that salads are important. and what i've gravitated towards now is eating a salad in the evening. i usually eat fruit all throughout the day and then eat leafy greens for supper. i think the reason i was including olive oil and so many nuts as part of my diet is because i wasn't used to eating so many leafy greens without dressing, so i needed olive oil and other unhealthy "dressings", like almond butter, to add flavor. but now i am growing to really like the salads so i think it will be easier to cut out the olive oil and butters i've made. as far as nuts, i think that will be slightly more difficult to not eat. i think the problem was that i was under the impression they were ok to eat based on the information i read, but you are right in that including nuts, or highly concentrated fat like that, is something i need to work up to. i need to learn more about balancing that and everything. i was just justifying that it was ok for me to eat them too although i've known along they are high in fat. i really needed someone to tell me otherwise! jack, what do you think about a mono fruit diet for a week or two? i've heard many good things about that. also, what do you think about dates? i have found them to be a good "snack" food when i feel like i need something to munch on. usually nuts have been that for me, but i would think dates are a much healthier choice, as long as i don't overdo it of course! also, what are some of the better fruits to eat in terms of flushing and purifying the body/cleansing the skin? i have heard melons are the easiest to digest. and one more thing, what about carrot juice? i have read very good things about carrot juice, but also that carrots have a lot of sugar and should be avoided. thank you so much, you really cleared stuff up for me!
