Here on this board we’re not really into the game of “which is the lesser of two evils?” Whether grains are more harmful or meat is more harmful doesn’t really concern us. We know they’re both not optimal choices, so we don’t tend to be overly focused on either one of them.

If it’s your thing to play the “which is better, which would you eat on an island with no other choices, etc etc, you might want to look elsewhere, and I mean that in a respectful way. We concern ourself with the real world here, and the real choices we have, and what we’ve found to be optimal.

Whether or not you consider us to be “more vegan” or “less vegan” or not “the same” as the other vegsource boards is, to put it bluntly, irrelevant.

We eat sweet fruits, green vegetables, and some nuts and seeds. Your question of whether or not we would choose to eat grains or meat is about as relevant as asking us whether or not we’d ride a tricycle or a sled to sail to Hawaii. Neither one of them is going to get you there.
