Subject: Vegan looking to try raw froods - any advice ?

Hello everyone! I'm new here and am a vegan. I'm interested in switching to a raw foods diet for weight loss and health reasons. I was wondering if anyone on this board has had any success with losing weight on a raw foods diet? I have lost weight since switching from vegetarian to vegan, but still have a lot more to lose, and think that raw foods is the right way for me to do it. Does anyone have any opinions or advice on this ? Can I just go straight to raw foods since I'm already a vegan, or do I need to transition slowly into it ??

I've also got some conflicting info on rawfoods, and the best way to do it. Some websites say it's best not to eat any bananas if you're trying to lose weight, but others say that bananas are fine. Some say no avacados or olives either, while others say that any type of vegan raw foods are fine. What do people on this board think ? Is it ok to eat nuts and seeds too (when hoping to lose weight with raw foods) or should I just have fruits and veg ?

Would appreciate any info anyone can share with me.
