Though I don't use cashews any more, there are plenty of other ways to make great creamy sauces. Pine nuts, celery, and oranges blended makes an excellent sauce for shredded cabbage or shredded lettuce. If you don't want the celery taste, try cucumber instead. Does this help? As far as quantities or proportions, you gotta make it the way you want it. :) Dr D
