If you mean consuming "only" shakes during the day, that to me is not a good idea.
Sounds like defeating the purpose also. It can be a great help to get you there though.
Practice is a good word for learning how to eat more. Veggies can be mainly romaine,
celery and tomato for example, and you are set, till you want to add more or get the hang of it.
Concentrate on getting/eating the fruit and keeping the fat down.
