At one, you will hypertrophy muscle but not develop any muscular endurance. Strength will develop, if you do the one with some frequency. You might try doing a set the way you usually do them, then one with bars, or even the other way around.
or
You can rig up assistance by using tubing.
or
You can use your feet on the wall to assist your arms.
or
You can shorten the range of motion in order to perform a higher number of reps.
