Diet is never more important than relationships, IMO.

Being vegetarian, vegan, raw, these are all decisions we make based on what we believe about health, nature, our bodies, etc. If my family doesn't agree with me, and they don't, it is where they are at, and that is their decision and it is about them.

If I can't abstain from sampling, that is about me. If being 100% rigidly is my choice, that is about me, if allowing the occaissional sample or tast is where I draw the line, that is about me. I choose for me, they choose for them.

The only way to walk through life having peace and offering peace to others is to be able to be separate from one another enough to be OK with where we are *and* with where they are, even if it means not agreeing.
