You'll find this in every area of life, pretty much. Nutrition and exercise seem to attract the greatest differences in thought. Some suggest one needs to lift weights 5x per week to build muscle, while others claim anymore than once every 9 days is overtraining.

You're right about the anti-sugar movement. Most leading health authorities claim sugar is the devil, and some even say fruit sugar is no different. Robert O. Young seemed to spark a great debtate over whether fruit is healthy or not. He has science to back it up, yes... and the science is legit. HOWEVER, his research was not done on a lowfat diet. Sure, a high fat diet with high fruit is going to be a disaster. I don't one one person in existance that's ever followed such a diet and have been healthy. There's only one way to make a high fruit diet work... low fat. Very low fat, and 100% raw. 90% raw, even if the 10% is something relatively healthy, like whole grains, is going to be a disaster if a high fruit diet is being followed. The only things that mix well with fruit and veggies. Add anything else into the mix, and you're starting trouble. It's not rocket science.

Thanks for your insights.
