My mantra on this board has been, "research, research, research." As long as different raw camps are willing to continue to argue or contradict one another, (often times flamboyantly) we will not have credibility. In fact, more often than not, we look like folks chasing after the latest craze (not that raw is a recent thing or a craze, but the general population doesn’t know that.) Research, real, long-term studies with significant data base, not the junk science that produces the latest article that razzle-dazzles us or scares us out of taking our vitamin E, etc, but real research to back up what has been anecdotally demonstrated. As for me, I refuse to follow after any one “guru,” even if I suspect they hold more truth than the others. I’ll listen to my body, take from the table what works for me and let it be. I’ve had too many false messiahs in my life as it is.
