There is lots of info that the mainstream just doesn't want to know. The ostrich technique of hiding one's head in the sand of ignorance definitely applies to knowledge of cooked food. Heck, I guess we can all ask ourselves why we didn't know 10 or 20 or 30 years ago. Use whichever number applies. As for mucoid plaque, the answer is simple. Mucus is a transport medium, which means it is always in motion. Plaque is stationary. The two cannot be one. The mucus that is constantly being emitted from the mucus cells that line the intestine are the same as those in your mouth. See any buildup in your mouth? Or at the anus, where the same mucus is formed? Mucus plaque is a concept that someone thought up but which doesn't hold true for cooked food eaters any more than it does for smokers. Thickened mucus, yes. Plaqued, no. As mucus is always in motion, the thickened mucus does not need to be removed, as it will move itself when need for it is diminished.
