Thanks for this post, Janie! Someone was saying to me recently that they could not afford to go all raw, and I didn't know quite what to say. Living in a more northern state, produce, especially at this time of year, begins to be pretty pricey. But when you consider how much we spend on going out for meals, plus the price of animal foods and dairy, we do more than break even. And when you factor in all the non-food items you listed, it makes this seem like an absolute no-brainer! Peace,
