Hi. I know this was addressed in the recent past, but I cannot locate the thread about how to raise the percentage of protein in the diet without raising fats (and I also cannot eat 3 heads of lettuce but can eat about 1 right now). Since I've begun 100% raw, I've noticed how much more hungry I am, but I am eating about 1,450 calories on the days without the gym (and this is the same as when I ate some cooked), but all the carbs (like 84% on average, and fat is 9.5% on average) make me feel like I've had enough and just cannot eat anymore--so, maybe I'm not really hungry? I just don't know, but I'm getting more anxious like I used to feel when I was very hungry. I'm lying in bed for over 3 hours trying to sleep at night, and I'm having nightmares now--do you think this is from old stress issues that are coming up since I'm not sedating myself with cooked food? This is what I was originally worried about. My health feels like it's suffering more because of this stress, but then again my chronic sore throat feels a bit better already (even after eating 4 cups of pineapple last night, and my throat almost closed up from that much--does anyone know if there is a kinda toxin in pineapple?), and because I still am fighting a chronic illness with fibromyalgia, I cannot go to the gym every day and still take 1-2 days to recover, so I wonder if all these sugars are making me more jumpy, and how on earth can I get more protein? I actually sprouted some garbanzo beans for raw hummus, and I got bad digestive upset and gas that woke me up a couple of hours after I fell asleep, so I know that my body wants mostly fruit and lettuce, and I also cannot tolerate a lot of fats. So, what can I do? I would love to consult with you, Dr. D, but I cannot afford the fee as I am on social security disability. Can this stress actually make me worse than how the raw foods can help me? Sorry about all the questions thrown in there, but I'm kinda scattered at the moment. Thanks,
