Dr. Joel Fuhrman has written a book on water fasting
and he himself went on an extended water fast as a
young man when he had an ankle injury as an Olympic
hopeful skater.

He was the doctor who oversaw Joe Cross' extended
juice fast in "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". I find it
noteworthy that he's now doing juice fasts instead of
water fasts.

I don't know if juicers were around during Shelton's
time, but they are now and Dr. Max Gerson got great
results with very sick people by doing lots of juicing
and vegan food.

One doesn't have to take the risk of a water fast when
there are other options available to them that are
also way cheaper.

Thanks for sharing Gina. I've met Brian Clement in
person with his wife at a talk and he's aged very
well.
