Subject:         Results that are working for me

Over the last 6 or 7 years, I found that eating a diet that is predominated by fresh fruits and vegetables is beneficial to my health, especially when I combine that with enough sleep, sunshine, and loving communication with others. The results are phenomenal (for me, you're mileage may vary).

I do what I can to reduce stress, and I found I'm a lot happier when I only worry about what I eat, and not what other people eat. It's why I chose to continue my career with computers, and not become a teacher or lifestyle coach, which was my immediate urge when I found out how well this works.

I cannot imagine a more difficult job than telling people how to live, and it just doesn't suit me. Some people seem to get really upset when you put a stake in the ground and say "this is how it's done". And we're not just talking about meat eaters. People who eat raw food sure seem to take the differences in how you do it and how you talk about it VERY seriously. I don't have any other "community" in my life where I see people treat each other so poorly. Perhaps it's the effect of internet communication, anonymity, and the stress from worrying about what other people are doing or not doing.

The best I can do is share my experiences and hope others may gain something from it, without me shaking my fingers at anyone. So far in my personal life, this is working well. I've kept all my friends, all my family, and now everyone around me is eating more fruit than they used to.

As far as Dr. Graham goes, I trust my own experiences. He taught me a great deal and I believe he is sincere. You may not agree with the way he does things, and you are entitled to your view, but I don't believe he would hurt anyone on purpose. Certainly some of the improvements in the process that people are talking about for fasters sound like good ideas for improving safety. Nothing wrong with making those suggestions, but when people say he would allow someone to die on purpose, that's over the top and doesn't even make sense to me.

Okay, well I guess I must have felt like I needed to say something. That is all, I will go back to eating my figs now. Much love!

Van
