Personally, I think a little from time to time would
not be a significant issue and nothing to stress
over, but I probably would not make it a really
regular thing.

As with all excitotoxic foods, the more they are
moderated the better. But we also cannot avoid them.
Our brain can also repair itself if given the
chance. So smaller incremental use of those foods
may not be at all harmful since our body can regular
it. It is the excessive use of excitoxic foods, the
constant bombardment, not allowing any healing, that
is probably the big issue with all this.

The same thing can be said by anything that excites
the brain, including things such as TV, computer
use, exercise, sugar, drugs and so on and so on. all
these things spike neurochemistry to some degree.

As with all things, always in moderation and never
to excess. And then there are some things that are
never good for us regardless of dose. So we need to
be mindful and try to make the best choices we can,
but not being obsessed over that, which is something
that will cause stress and that has its own negative
impacts too.

I believe the whole raw food orthorexia mindset
creates stress in people and leads to more harm than
good. Fearing food of any form is never the right
answer. Making an informed choice and choosing to
focus on what is going to be healing for me today is
the better mindset.
