Let me add the contraindications about tumeric from Chinese medicine, because your info stated a high dose of extract should be used.

From Bensky's Materia Medica: Chinese name is Jiang Huang (acrid, bitter, warm)
"Contraindicated in cases of blood deficiency without stagnant qi or blood stasis."

My friend has lots of stasis and no blood deficiency. Anyway, in the case for most tumors,I would say it's great.

Thank you for reminding about tumeric. Sometimes I take the small things for granted. In my area, they sell it in Indian shops (fresh roots) and at the health food store (also fresh).
