The problem is that some people are already eating, or trying to eat a healthy diet and the idea of binging on more healthy foods doesn't solve their problem. If they are allowed to eat a small amount of ' objectionable ' food from time to time ( without feeling guilt or that they or going to be poisoned )to satisfy their taste buds, emotions and physical requirements then maybe they wouldn't have to binge.

I'm not saying this is what everyone should do. I'm just offering it as an option for new people who are interested in getting healthier. As they get better and learn more then they may want to go a step further - and they might be more mentally, physically and emotionally ready to get even stricter.

It's not really a good look for raw foodists or people professing to eat healthy and lecturing others when they are binging on anything and everything. If this was a one off then it wouldn't be a problem, but it is happening too often and at some point it needs to be addressed. At least for now we can discuss it openly - until we get the next raw guru to moderate this site.
