Dr. Pam Popper made the same point and said that for
those not seriously ill needing to reverse disease,
then even allowing them to eat meat (her suggestion
not mine) 2x/week provided it is grass fed and no
bigger than a deck of cards was falling within The
China Study's 5% recommendations of protein intake
from animal foods.

For those not ill, then softer guidelines may work.

However, Dr. Gregor did show that all Americans
already have vascular fatty streaks in their arteries
by age 10.

So....not everyone is as healthy as they think.

STILL making an 80% improvement is better than no
improvement, however, I do think there are healthy
"binge" foods such as banana ice cream and vegan mac
and cheese, etc, that are better choices than others.
