In case you have been too busy with the Woodstock Fruit
Festival to notice, Doug Graham's karma has caught up with him.
Evidence has been presented that Graham has been lying to
people for years about censorship on what used to be his forum.
His censorship has served to erase evidence of the serious
risks involved in his fasting retreats and in following the
diet he promotes. The papers for his discipline by the Florida
Board of Health - for running a fasting center - have also been

Many people consider his behavior to be unethical and anti-
vegan, and choose to boycott any event that Graham is involved
in. Some people skipped the 2014 WFF for this very reason, and
by 2015 this "Graham effect" could be much larger.

As the financier for the WFF, you are caught in a dilemma. If
you invite Graham as a pioneer in 2015, there could be an
active boycott of your festival. And unfortunately you have
setup a governing body that Graham is on, so it will be hard to
get rid of him.

There is however a solution, if you want to run a festival in
2015: hold a no-guru fruit festival like the one in Spain. If
the so-called pioneers protest, then let them fund and run the
WFF while you start a brand new no-guru festival under a
different name. Remember: you don't need the gurus, the gurus
need you!
