It's disturbing that joe is following harley's advice, not
doing well, and continues to only accept harley's advice.
And we should not be giving advice only through the lens of
our own personal experience, and need to be very careful
with health advice.

joe's dietary information:

I eat a clean diet of fruits, vegetables, grains and
potatoes. I eat about 3500 calories a day and get 4L of
water a day... I don't do any stimulants.

joe's complaints:

-I have lost ALL my fitness and my health since then.
-I'm only 20 years old.
-very low energy levels
-excessive thirst and urination
-generally feeling dehydrated all the time despite drinking
a lot a peeing clear
-just in general, an intense feeling of apathy.
-My legs also feel overtrained all the time. I just feel
absolutely burnt out.
-I have been diagnosed with hyponatremia, which from my
understanding comes from adrenal fatigue, which comes from
chronic stress (or at least that is the only thing it could
come from in my case).

harley's response from what I recall: it's all in your
head, and get enough sleep

my opinion ...

Just because you think you're doing what harley is doing and
he's supposedly healthy and fine, does not mean that your
symptoms are in your head. harley's cooked food intake
serves a purpose for him, but it WILL cause fatigue,
guaranteed - harley himself has hinted at this several

- ingesting X calories per day instead of focusing on hunger
can cause fatigue - you are not satisfying the dynamic needs
of the body. you are GUARANTEED to be over or undereating.
- eating more food is not the answer to everything. paying
attention to hunger is far more important.
- grains and potatoes can cause fatigue
- overeating fruit can cause excessive thirst and fatigue.
- eating potatoes and grains can cause excessive thirst
- over drinking water (4 liters) can cause hyponatremia
- exercising while fatigued will cause more fatigue.
- inability to sleep is caused by not following your hunger
and thirst signals (over eating and over drinking) and by
the cooked food.
-insure enough sodium (celery/greens). sodium intake CAN be
low on your diet, especially when drinking that much water.
-if you can't sleep, rest. make it your job to rest until
you wish to rise.
- check urinary MMA levels, stat !
- insure vitamin D levels ok.

pay attention to your own body and stop following what
someone else is doing. extremely dangerous to assume that
your body is in the same place physically.
