No such thing as emotional eating. Its more you are just eating less than you ever have calorie wise and are ravenously hungry. This will go away once you carb up harder on your favorite sweet fruits.

Also have a high carb vegan back up plan in place. That may be tinned fruits, McDougall style vegan starch dishes or dried fruits wrapped in lettuce leaves.
