Yes, I agree with you about our sense of taste being
able to give us an indication of what we ought to eat
in our natural environment, up to a point. If we were
in a natural environment without any tools or devices
to alter our food, I think that taste would be an
important guide. It's something to respect and give
into, which can also allow us to get in touch with
what our body needs. Yet, I wouldn't use it as the
only thing, because it can be trained, it can change
from person to person and at different time points in
the same person's life, as well as being affected by
hunger and nutritional status.
I think it's a nice idea though. Thanks for sharing
here. :)
