Good points, thanks!

I generally follow a principle in my eating that goes
as follows: If it taste good in it's natural,
unaltered form, I can eat it by itself and enjoy it,
eating something like a "meal" of it, then I consider
it a healthy part of the human diet.

If one looks away from studies, research and
scientific guidelines, all we have is our senses.

However, I do like to look at the science as well,
it's a great way to analyze things and then make
intelligent decisions. So I guess somewhere in the
middle, we can find our balance!

However, for the hygienic principle of "eat a meal of
it, by itself etc" to be valid, there's a question:
Are there foods in our natural habitat (tropics) that
taste good, with no immediate effects, but are deadly
after ingesting?
