Hi Doug!

I've heard you can put on about one pound of muscle per month
if you really work out hard. I have some questions regarding
that. Hypothetical questions to feed my curiosity!

a)Could you put on a pound of muscle/month only on your upper
body for example, or would you have to work the whole body for
that amount of total gain?

b)If I work out my whole body, 2-3 sessions per week of
strength exercises without too much structure and without
pushing myself too hard. Kind of just gently pushing myself,
building for the long term, slowly. How much gain can I
expect, generally speaking? 200g/month? more?

Very general questions I know, and it all depends on type of
exercise and other factors, but what I'm looking for is how
the range of 0-1 lbs per month relates to "how hard you are
working at it" principle! :D

Thanks!
