I believe that dairy products are more damaging to our health
than fish and meat. There are animals that eat other animals but
there are no animals that consume the breast milk of another
species. I came to veganism gradually giving up dairy before
meat and fish. One of the few good pieces of advise I ever
received from a traditional doctor was to give up diary after I
developed IBS. It worked and the IBS went away in a month.
When I went to my next check-up my doctor was amazed that my
fibroid tumor had completely disappeared. Countries that don't
consume dairy, like Japan, have much lower incidences of breast
cancer. There is a person at my office that is lacto-vegetarian
and she has very high cholesterol. She says that her high
cholesterol is genetic.
